The EnLink System - How it works

Instead of burning the energy candle at both ends by trying to cool with hot outside air, or heat with cold outside air like conventional HVAC methods, the EnLink System utilizes the earth's constant temperature as a source of renewable energy to create indoor comfort. The process starts with a series of holes drilled hundreds of feet deep into the Earth where temperature is constant. EnLink then uses a cost saving and patented process to insert into each hole two polyethylene pipes joined at the bottom. Once the pipes reach the bottom of the hole, our patented Coil Tubing Unit, or CTU, pumps highly thermal conductive grout from the bottom to the surface as a solid backfill. Near the earth’s surface, the pipes join to a common manifold. From the manifold, interior piping is run to each highly efficient heat pump.
